Using KetoCounter

Intake Form

KetoCounter begins by taking an account of your physical details such as height, weight, age, and gender as well as your physical activity level, body fat percentage, and fitness goals.

This data is used to calculate the optimal levels of Calories, Fat, Carbohydrates, and Protein based on your physical statistics, activity level, and fitness goals

Using KetoCounter

Once you’ve entered your physical details and fitness goals, KetoCounter will automatically calculate the recommended amount of daily calories as well as how many grams of each macronutrient - fat, carbohydrates, protein - needed each to optimize your results and reach your fitness goals.

Note: The values calculated are only close approximations. Please use your own discretion.

These values will be represented in the Main Dashboard view:

Add Meal

To begin using KetoCounter, click '+Add Meal' from the Meals list:

Adding Foods

After clicking '+Add Meal' you will be brought to the Search view:

Use the search input to find the foods you plan to eat. Enter a quantity (you may use abbreviations, e.g: tbsp, oz, g) and the name of the food. You may enter only one food at a time.

You can also try scanning a barcode by clicking on the barcode icon:

Or enter a food item manually:

This is your best option if the food you want can’t be found in our database and the barcode is unavailable. This will bring up a dialog box where you can enter each value manually:

At any time, hit the back button to go back to the previous screen:

Meal View

After successfully entering a food item, you will be brought to the Meal view:

Here, you will be shown the dietary breakdown of the meal including the percentage of daily calories the meal is worth as well as the percentage of fat, carbs, and protein.

Pro tip: You can edit the meal title by clicking on the meal name!

To add another food to the meal, click ‘+Add Food’. You will be taken back to the Search view.

A summary of the entire meal will be displayed after the list of entered foods:

When you finished entering the foods the will comprise the meal, click ‘Done’:

You will then be taken back to the main Dashboard page where the meal will be reflected in the dashboard as well as populating the meal list.

In the meal list, you will be able to see the time the meal was logged as well as the number of total daily calories the meal accounts for.

At any time you can click on the options menu on the right side of the list item to either edit or delete the meal.

Adding Multiple Meals

To add another meal, simply click the ‘+Add Meal’ button and follow the steps in the section Adding Foods from above.

KetoCounter will track your meals throughout the day and will reset at midnight based on your timezone.

Coming soon: We are developing the capability to keep track of your logged meals over time so you can monitor your progress over the days and weeks. Stay tuned!
